MR. JOHN ELY has extensive and versatile experience in the power generation industry with a strong emphasis in the management of commissioning, construction, operations and maintenance of power facilities. He is experienced in a variety of plants including simple cycle, combined cycle, fluidized bed combustion, pulverized coal, oil and gas combustion technologies. Mr. Ely is a hands-on degreed electrical engineer who has been successful in the field as well as in corporate management oversight.  He is an objective leader in the research of plant performance problems, as well as the completion of new systems and implementation of new concepts and technologies. In his career at Dominion Virginia Power, held increasingly important management positions at large and small electric stations as well as corporate.
